Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

91 Pts Jeb Dunnuck - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"A gorgeous white that's a blend of 35% Marsanne, 20% each of Viognier, Clairette and Grenache Blanc, and 5% Bourboulenc (from a single plot of vines), the 2012 Cotes du Rhone Villages Per El offers incredibly pure and classy aromas and flavors of white peach and assorted stone fruits intermixed with honeysuckle, mineral and white flowers. Medium-bodied, pure, elegant and seamless, it's superb stuff that has a gulpable, delicious feel, yet also has fantastic texture, good complexity and serious length. Buy this beauty by the case and enjoy it over the coming couple of years. Drink now-2015." (10/13)

Description:

WINE:
"A blend of 5 grapes: Marsanne, Bourboulenc , Viognier, Clairette and Grenache Blanc. These all come from the same plot and are planted side by side by type, sometimes in full rows or intermingled. The first of a new varietal, Roussanne, was planted in 2008. 'Per El' was created by Louis Saladin for his wife, Annick. She used to serve the wine at her restaurant, 'Le Mazet,' located right amongst the vineyards, which was most recently under the direction of her son, Stephane, until 2009. 'Per El' means 'For Her' in Provencal." -Winery

VINIFICATION:
"100% natural, 100% indigenous yeasts. Grapes are hand-picked early in the morning while cool temperatures prevail. The pneumatic press treats grapes gently. This is followed by a slow fermentation in underground vats at a low temperature without any additives. 'Elevage' and 'batonnage' (aging and stirring of the lees), is done in stainless steel." -Winery

WINERY:
"The Domaine Saladin is located in Saint Marcel d'Ardeche, a village in the South Cotes du Rhone, halfway between Montelimar and Avignon, on the right bank of the Rhone river. Elisabeth, Marie-Laurence, Louis and Annick Saladin run the Domaine Saladin, a family vineyard passed down from fathers to sons and father to daughters, since 1422. The 18 hectares and 13 Rhone grape varietals of the Domaine are characterised by having always been harvested by hand, and cultivated and vinified organically. Elisabeth and Marie-Laurence create natural wines and play with their ‘terroirs’: Per El, the white; Tralala !, the rose; Loi, Paul, Fan de Lune, Haut Brissan and Chaveyron 1422, the reds." -Importer
