Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Neal Martin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2011 Syrah underwent a natural ferment and is raised in used oak. The bouquet is wonderfully controlled with black cherries, blueberry and iodine gently unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a complex opening of blackberry, undergrowth, licorice, honey and cassis all vying for attention. It is extremely well-balanced but the powerful finish needs a couple of years to be tempered and find its groove. There is huge potential here. Drink 2015-2025. "

"Reyneke - I had expressed my admiration for these wines in previous South Africa reports. Winemaker Rudiger Gretschel creates intellectual, thought provoking, biodynamically produced wines that you as much experience as drink. These are wines of character and charm and the newest crop of releases are as impressive as ever." (10/13)

90 Pts Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media

"Bright red-ruby. High-toned, expressive aromas of musky red berries and spicecake. Sweet, rich and deep, with spicy red and darker berry flavors complicated by a meaty nuance. This pliant syrah finishes with big, dusty tannins and noteworthy persistence" (06/13)

"This wine is a new addition to our range of biodynamic wines. In the past the Syrah was blended together with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cab franc to make up the Cornerstone blend. We felt that the wine has such subtle and beautiful spice, pepper and perfumed aromas which were lost once blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, that we decided to keep the wine and bottle it separately as a Syrah."

"Bright fruit flavours with an aniseed spice and white pepper dominate the nose. A linear palate shows freshness with focused and slightly austere tannins."

"No added enzyme, yeast and bacteria were used in the making of this wine. 50% of the grapes underwent a submerged cap fermentation without a single pump-over and or punch down during the fermentation process. The remaining 50% of the grapes were fermented on broken whole clusters. The wine spent 14 month in used French oak barrels." -Winery
