Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

90 Pts Wine Spectator
"Features a racy edge to the apple, green peach and citrus flavors. This is lithe and fresh-tasting. Crisp acidity lends zesty purity and verve to the finish. Drink now through 2018. 3,500 cases made. -K.M." (03/14)
"A combination of citrus fruit and spice is the trademark of the Jean Baptiste. The 2012 strikes a fine balance between residual sugar and acidity which draws extra strength from a very lively and fresh interpretation. Racy feinherb just begging to be quaffed. Drink from 2013 to 2016. (MS)" (06/13) - 16 out of 20 Points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages.
"Always a pleasure and always a bargain for Riesling-lovers, the Jean Baptiste is a blend of three great vineyards: the Pettenthal and Paterberg in Nierstein and the glorious Rothenberg in Nackenheim, for which the estate is famed. Just enough sweetness to please the palate, and enough zesty, refreshing juiciness to handle any food you care to pair it with." - Importer
"Johannes Hasselbach (6th generation at Gunderloch) has now officially taken the winemaking reins from his renowned father Fritz."
"Then: In 1890 Carl Gunderloch founded the estate by investing his fortune into the top vineyards of the "Roter Hang" ("red slope") area in the Rheinhessen appellation. Five generations later, Agnes Gunderloch married winemaker Fritz Hasselbach, now known as "The 300 Point Man" for being the only winemaker in the world ever to have received a perfect 100 points three times from The Wine Spectator."
"Now: Fritz has bequeathed to his son Johannes a thriving estate of approximately 25ha of vines in some of the best sites in the Rheinhessen. In Nackenheim they own a nearly monopole position in the grand cru Rothenberg (65% of the estate's holdings) which is planted completely to Riesling. The average yield is held to 45 hl/ha, amongst the lowest in Germany, resulting in wines of high extraction and great quality. The cellar work is accomplished with a minimum amount of handling and is very reductive in style. Minimum ripeness for the various quality levels is significantly above the requirements of the German wine law. The wines are never de-acidified and in high acid vintages bottling is often delayed to allow the wines to harmonize and soften. Production for the whole estate is 40% dry, 30% off-dry and 30% fruity-to-sweet. The Rieslings from here, particularly those from the Rothenberg, are some of the finest in Rheinhessen and in Germany. These are full, elegant wines full of yellow fruits, great structure and fine acidity for long aging." - Importer
