The nose demands coaxing from the glass, however, peering deep inside there are some lovely pure tangerine and almost Muscat aromas developing. The palate is very well-balanced with good tension and spice. It is an energetic Sauternes with impressive weight and persistency on the botrytis-rich finish. It has length and great harmony, but given its upward curve, I would keep my bottles safely in the cellar. Tasted January 2011." (02/12)
