Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Description:
"Jean-Michel Guillon called 2010 a "somewhat painful vintage as the deep frost of December 2009 cost us fully 1 ha of vines out of our 13 total. Moreover, a poor flowering further reduced yields and across everything we were down right at 30% compared to what we realized in 2009. On the plus side though was the fruit that we did harvest was not only ripe but of excellent quality. We began picking on the 28th of September and brought in very clean fruit which helped because I would put our sorting losses at between 2 to 3% and we take pride in being extremely meticulous. Potential alcohols ranged from 12.2 to 13.2% and the acidities were basically perfect. The vinifications were straightforward, indeed much easier than they were in 2009 when the fermentations had difficulty finishing their sugars."
"Overall, I really like the style of the 2010s as the wines are both fresh and refreshing. In fact, I would describe 2010 as a textbook vintage." Guillon told me that all wines, save for the Bourgogne, were aged in 100% new wood. I have explained this before but it bears repeating for those who may not be familiar with the Guillon's style. I would describe his wines as being among the best of the "new world" school of Burgundy, which is to say modern burgundies that retain a clear sense of style and grace. More importantly, at least to my taste, is that they remain identifiably pinot noir rather than a caricature of the Rhone Valley." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com - Producer Note
