Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

93 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com

"Aromas of blueberries and flowers follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a caressing finish. Very fine and structured. Impressive for this estate and appellation. Better in 2018." (02/13)

91 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"This shows something of Margaux's - the neighboring appellation - delicacy, allied with firm, dry tannins. It has the dense structure and ripeness characteristic of the vintage, with a rich black-fruit flavor and acidity. It's a wine for long-term aging." (02/13)

90 Pts Wine Spectator

"Dense but fresh, with a saturated core of blackberry pate de fruit, anise and plum sauce that races along with vibrant spice and graphite notes. The long finish shows cut and drive, with enough grip to cellar short term. Best from 2014 through 2019. 18,000 cases made. -JM" (03/13)

Description:

Wine/Winemaking:
"Strict selection from among the oldest plots of vines and yields limited to 45 hl/ha provide the essential foundations for the quality of this wine. It is made using techniques that preserve all the flavours of the grapes. The wine is matured in oak barrels for 12 months (50% new barrels each year). The wine is characterised by its intense colour, a delicated red-fruit bouquet, robust, mature tannic structure and great length." - Winery

History:
"Monsieur de Cambon, the owner at the time of the French Revolution, gave the estate its name. The revolutionaries confiscated his property, but he did get it back a few years later. In 1996, the estate was taken over by Annick and Jean-Pierre Marie. They have made a large number of investments to renovate it and provide it with the very best equipment. For several years now, the property has been producing wines whose quality has earned the praises of professionals and lovers of great crus." - Winery

This wine was also scored 88 Points by the Wine Advocate.
