Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

91 Pts Wine Spectator

"This has a pure, crystalline essence to the flavors of red peach and apricot. Enticing Bourbon vanilla notes chime in as well, with a long, juicy finish of peach cobbler and spice. Very elegant. Drink now through 2022. 350 cases made. -KM" (12/12)

Description:

"Slightly yoghurty nose - but in the best way. White peaches. Creamy with a little dab of lime, a suggestion of sweet juicy white peach. Like biting into a fresh vineyard peach. Delicate and fine and everything a Kabinett should be. (MS & TC)" 16 out of 20 points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages (07/12)

VINEYARD:
"When, as in Wehlen, a sundial was installed on the most prominent rock in the steep vineyards, it gave its name to the surrounding vineyard. The Sonnenuhr vineyard is 65 hectares in all, facing south south-west directly opposite the village of Wehlen. It lies in the middle of the long curving steep slate slope by the Mosel, stretching five kilometres from Bernkastel to Zeltingen. Here lie the great vineyards - Bernkasteler Doctor and Badstube - Graacher Himmelreich and Dompropst - Wehlener Sonnenuhr - Zeltinger Sonnenuhr and Schlossberg. The prescious wines from the Sonnenuhr vineyard created solid wealth ,and in the early days of this century the citizens of Wehlen were able to build a suspension bridge, which is today a historical monument and, like the sundial, a local landmark. The only other villages which could afford to build a bridge in those days were Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach."

"The Wehlener Sonnenuhr was a comparatively recent acquisition in the 300 years of Weingut Max Ferd.Richter's history. In 1972 the first parcel of vines was bought. It was next to the sundial in the heart of the vineyard. This was followed by the purchase of other parcels over the next few years. In general, the wines from Wehlener Sonnenuhr are wonderfully elegant with delicate aromas." -Winery

WINERY:
"The estate of MAX FERD.RICHTER has been in the ownership of the family for more than 300 years. Today this enterprise is one of the leading producers of top RIESLING-wines in the heart of the central Mosel area with total holdings of 40 acres and an annual production of about 10,500 cases." -Winery
