Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

#26 on Top Cellar Selections of 2012!
"This dark Brunello opens with thick concentration and balsam notes of cola, humus and eucalyptus. Despite the thick extraction, the berry aromas are delicate, with lingering wild raspberry and forest fruit. The wine shows a nice juxtaposition between its bold, masculine side and an elegant feminine one. The mouthfeel is bold, plush and powerful. -M.L." (05/12)

93 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com

"Lots of dark berries and flowers on the nose. Full body, with silky tannins and creamy acidity. Slightly chewy. From organic grapes. Enjoyable, but better in 2014. Made from biodynamic grapes." (01/12)

90 Pts Wine Spectator

"A supple, inviting style, sporting cherry, plum and cedar notes. Balanced and solid, picking up a tobacco element on the dry finish. Best from 2014 through 2025. 2,500 cases made. -BS" (10/12)

"Very dark crimson. Stalky and with a vegetal streak. Not very impressive on the palate either, but some fruit turns up on the finish. Dry! Drink from 2013-2016 (WS) " - 15 out of 20, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages.

"Red varieties are also carefully selected during picking. The berries are separated from the stems, lightly crushed and left to ferment, partly in stainless steel and partly in oak. Our winemaking methods are a happy combination of tradition and modern technology. This includes pumping the fermenting must over the skins as they are driven to the surface, thereby forcing them back down into the liquid in order to extract a maximum of colour and ripe tannins, especially in the case of rich, concentrated, complex wines. Malolactic fermentation, whereby the tart-tasting malic acid is transformed into the much milder lactic acid, yields round, smooth, velvety wines Our red wines are not fined. Young wines intended for early drinking are filtered while those which are matured in barrique for over 2 years are either not, or only lightly filtered. The fact that red wines require only small amounts of free sulphur to protect them after bottling means that they can be enjoyed earlier after release than white wines. " - Winery

Corte Pavone:
"The Loacker estate Corte Pavone extends across the Montalcino hillsides at around 500 metres altitude amid a delightful landscape consisting of vineyards, fields and thick Mediterranean scrub. The finest sites and soils are planted with carefully selected clones of Sangiovese for the production of Brunello. Aromatic plants and herbs such as rosemary, lavender and thyme grow among the vines in the Corte Pavone estate and these and many more characterise the aromas and flavours of the complex and deep 'Brunello di Montalcino' which comes from these vineyards. The crushed grapes are left to ferment slowly with temperature control and the wine is matured for four to five years in oak casks of differing sizes and origins. Finally the wine is matured in bottle for six months prior to release. The wine estate 'Corte Pavone' was owned by the Martini family from Montalcino from around 1940 to 1988 and was subsequently managed by the Swiss company 'Terre Bindella'. The Rainer Loacker family acquired it in 1996 and since then it has been run according to Loacker principles with the motto 'Philosophy with heart and soul." - Winery
