Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

"Vivid ruby. Fresh cherry, raspberry, musky flowers, allspice and graphite on the nose. Sweet, floral-dominated and intense, with tangy acidity and minerality contributing energy to this taut wine's sweet red fruit character. Firmly built and very long, with captivating floral pastille notes lingering on the finish." (05/11) |
Description:
WINE:
"Ripe cherry, raspberry, and rose petal underscored by notes of chocolate, coconut, and earthiness on the nose. Elegantly structured with ï¬avors of bing cherry, boysenberry, and pomegranate. Smooth and balanced ï¬nish with balanced ï¬avors of dark plum, reï¬ned tannins and focused acidity." -Winery
VINEYARD:
"Maddieâs Vineyard is located along Westside Road, just south of the town of Healdsburg, in the area of the Russian River Valley commonly referred to as the Middle Reach."
"Sited on the bench land on the western edge of the river, the soils of Maddieâs Vineyard are a mixture of river gravel, sand, silt, and fossil alluvium. They overlay the coastal belt of the Franciscan rocks, remnants of the oceanic plates that fractured while colliding with the western edge of North America. Rich in various minerals, the soils are naturally well drained and the roots of the vines run deep."
"At just 3.5 acres, Maddieâs Vineyard is quite small by California standards, and only 0.75 acres is planted to Chardonnay. Aggressive pruning, green harvesting, cluster selection, and multiple passes through the vineyard further limit crop yields. Despite its tiny size, the vineyard is harvested in three separate picks to ensure optimum ripeness for each and every cluster. One pick for the chardonnay, one for the single vineyard pinot noir, and the balance goes to our Russian River Valley wine."
"Sitting in the cradle of the Russian River, our estate enjoys one of the preeminent settings for winemaking in the Russian River Valley. Our crown jewel is Maddie's Vineyard, a certified organic vineyard seated in the Middle Reach of the Russian River - an area considered by many to be the Gold Coast of the valley. While the location of our vineyards helps yield superior fruit, we also pay close and careful attention to each individual vine, hand-sorting twice to assure that only the finest grapes are chosen to become C. Donatiello wine. Then, in our state-of-the-art fermentation room, the fruit makes it's pilgrimage to wine, vigilantly guided by our skilled winemakers." -Winemaker
WINEMAKER:
"Webster Marquez is a dyed-in-the-wool East Coaster who ended up in Northern California chasing after wine knowledge and experience. After two years of training as an Assistant Winemaker in the fairly unforgiving grape-growing climate of Virginia, he moved to Sonoma County and joined Williams Selyem."
"At C. Donatiello, Webster helps craft wines that are representative of their terroir and are fun to drink. He does this by spending long hours in the vineyards and treating the grapes with care and respect in the winery. He especially loves making Russian River Valley wines because of the way they express their climate, vintage, and vineyard. In addition to his work at C. Donatiello, he co-owns a small label called Anthill Farms." -Winery
