"Bursts with aromas of plums, blackberries and violets. Medium-bodied on the palate, with vibrant, dark fruit flavors. Excellent with red meats, pasta with red sauce, grilled vegetables, or classic Argentine dishes including empanadas and asado."

"Produced from vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo, a top appellation in Mendoza known as the fabled "First Zone" (Primera Zona) of Argentine wine, where the Malbec varietal first achieved greatness. This wine comes from the I.P. Mendoza appellation, and is made of 100% Malbec, and sourced from old vines (averaging 40+ years old!) in Lujan de Cuyo at more than 3,200 feet above sea level. The grapes are harvested by hand and are macerated 15 days on the skins. Unoaked." - Importer
