Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $16.98. There are 11 other stores selling this at $15.98 and $20. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Free shipping on orders of 6 bottles or more!

90 Pts Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Bodegas Izadi's 2006 Reserva was sourced from 60+-year-old Tempranillo vines aged 14 months in American oak. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it offers up a lovely perfume of violets, spice box, incense, mineral, and blackberry. Elegant as well as structured on the palate, it has the balance to evolve for another 2-3 years and will deliver prime drinking from 2013 to 2021." (06/11)

90 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Deep ruby. Tobacco-tinged cherry, redcurrant and floral aromas, with hints of vanilla and baking spices. Taut, focused red fruit flavors show good intensity and pick up a peppery spiciness with air. Finishes brisk and clean, with lingering red fruit and spice qualities. I like this wine's nerviness." (11/11)

"Intense ruby red and clean, with lightly developed hues. On the nose the fruity aromas of the Tempranillo blend with vanilla and smoky notes from wood aging. Elegant and balanced in the mouth, with an honest, stimulating attack." -Importer

"Located in Rioja Alavesa, Izadi aims to produce wines that express the character of the local varieties. They are developing their wines to be fresh with a touch of modernity - without forgetting tradition. The Anton Family founded Izadi in 1987 after years of running vineyards in Villabuena de Alaba. The Antons also own a one star Michellin Restaurant (Zaldiaran) in the hamlet of Vitoria."

"Transformation of the winery happened in 1997, when Don Gonzalo Anton hired Mariano Garcia (wine maker for 30 years at Vega Secilia). Together with Angel Ortega (wine maker for Izadi), they created what we now recognize as the Izadi style: robust yet refined, modern and international. The word Izadi means Nature. The vineyards of Izadi are located deep in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, in the triangle formed by three villages, Villabuena, Abalos and Samaniego. The triangle pictured on the label of Izadi Reserva represents these three villages." -Importer
