The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92-95 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The brilliant 2010 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Rasteau La Fontaine is aged in a combination of tank and 600-liter demi-muids. Off the charts concentration and a bigger than life personality characterize this inky/purple-colored Rasteau. Notes of truffles, camphor, chocolate, kirsch, blackberries, roasted meats and bouquet garni emerge from this full-bodied, multidimensional effort. It is one of the finest Rasteaus I tasted on my tour through the southern Rhone Valley. Drink it over the next 15+ years." (10/11)

95 Pts Jeb Dunnuck - The Rhone Report

"Aged completely in concrete and a brilliant example of the world class quality coming out of these smaller appellations in the south of France, the 2010 Domaine La Colliere Rasteau La Fontaine is a knockout blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre that comes from the blue clay soils of the south eastern part of the appellation. Pure Rasteau on the nose, with intense aromas of chocolate covered cherries, cured meats, spice-box, and rolled stone- like minerality, it hits the palate with a full-bodied, rich, and gorgeously proportioned mouth feel that has nothing out of place, layers of fruit, and fantastic length. As with the straight Rasteau, it will benefit from short-term cellaring, and shine for over a decade. Readers should not miss this wine and hats off to proprietor Georges Perrot and consultant Philippe Cambie for this brilliant effort." (10/12)

Description:

"80% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre. No oak. A little more intense than the straight Rasteau but still has that peppery savoury character on the nose, touch of liquorice. Fine and very smooth tannins though they are dense too. Gentle but long. Finesse. Drink 2014 to 2019. (JH)" 16.5 out of 20 points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages (12/11)

WINE:
"Vineyards: A single vineyard, 'La Fontaine', with an yield of 30 hl/ha. Farming: Practicing Organic. Age of Vines: 35 years old. Aging: Aged in cuve beton (concrete) for 2 winters. Philippe Cambie is the winemaker." -Importer

WINERY:
"Domaine la Colliere is a small family estate founded by Georges Perrot. He began bottling his own wine in 2002, renting some cellar space from Andre Romero of Domaine Soumade fame. Prior to 2002, all the juice went to one of the big negociants. Reknown Rhone enologist, Philippe Cambie, consults on the project, which is already receiving rave reviews from the press."

"Robert Parker says, 'This unheralded estate is making fabulous wines from their 62 acres of vines spread throughout Rasteau and the surrounding Cotes du Rhone appellation. Proprietor Georges Perrot utilizes the services of the enormously talented Philippe Cambie, and, as one might expect, these are full-flavored, wonderfully pure, complex wines that respect their appellation.'" -Importer
