Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

"The equally deep colour has a better hue than Old Bastard; produced from estate vineyards planted in 1899 and 1965; aromas of licorice, boot polish and black fruits are followed by a distinctly savoury, spicy palate, oak and tannins playing a support role. Shiraz." (08/10) |
93 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media |
"Glass-staining purple. Powerful, seductive nose offers scents of dark berry preserves, potpourri, incense and allspice. Velvety, fleshy and suave, with a compellingly smooth texture and impressive concentration without any impression of excess weight. Boasts excellent vivacity for such a rich wine. Finishes with subtle tannins and lingering notes of spice and candied flowers. These vines were reportedly planted in 1899." (08/10) |
93 Pts Jeb Dunnuck - The Rhone Report |
"Dense and meaty, with loads of licorice, pepper, mint, violets, and ripe, full-throttle aromas of smoked plums and wild berries, the 2007 Kaesler Shiraz The Bogan (100% Shiraz from vines planted in 1899 and aged for 12 months in 60% new French oak) is full-bodied, ripe, layered, and structured on the palate. Slightly reticent at first, this blossoms in the glass and has plenty of depth and richness, while at the same time showing solid focus and length. It should evolve for another 1-2 years, and have upwards of a decade or more of longevity." (06/12) |
92 Pts Wine Spectator |
"Dark and inky, big but not gigantic, bursting with plum, cherry and white pepper flavors, hinting at cream as the spices kick in on the round, generous finish. Shiraz. Best from 2012 through 2017. 1,000 cases made. -HS" (06/10) |
91 Pts Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate |
"The 2007 Shiraz The Bogan is 100% bush vine Shiraz planted in 1899. Aromas of lavender, Asian spices, underbrush, bacon, game, and blueberry lead to a ripe, full-bodied, succulent Shiraz in need of a bit more depth. It is a solid effort lacking the richness and concentration of the top vintages." (12/09) |
Description:
"Blueberry, blackberry, plum skins with mocha and spicy oak. There is a feint edge of wild herbs, such as tarragon and oregano. More savoury than normal. Tannin is quite powdery and fine, almost Nebiolo-like. Acidity is beginning to settle. Will be tannic in its youth but will continue to expand its breadth on the palate for up to ten years. I believe the tightness of fruit it's displaying in its youth will lend well to a great display of bottle age, again much like Tuscan reds."
"2007 was in deed a challenging year, one in which I believe demanded ruthless culling in the vineyard and cellar. In short a production was nearly halved, but the quality is solid. All the 2007 reds will require patience." -Winery
WINERY:
"Kaesler is a privately owned wine company that produces estate grown wines from vineyards as old as 1893. The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s. In 1891 they bought a parcel of land and in 1893 planted their first vines. Today Kaesler wines are made from these ancient, dry grown vineyards, by the third owners of this magnificent property." -Winery
