Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $35.98. There are 8 other stores that sell this from $35.19 to $49.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Free shipping on every order of 3 bottles or more!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

More Ratings:

93 Pts Wine Spectator

"Firm in texture, with tremendous focus to the blackberry, cherry, anise seed and cardamom aromas and flavors. Not heavy at all, but sleek and expressive - and extra-long on the vibrant finish. Best from 2009 through 2016. 375 cases made."

93 Pts Jeb Dunnuck - The Rhone Report

"Named after the French spelling of Chronic, the 2006 Betts & Scholl The Chronique Grenache is a beauty. Ruby and translucent in color, it delivers an upfront, fragrant array of kirsch liqueur, wild strawberry, dried wild herbs, white pepper, and licorice that gives way to a full-bodied, yet beautifully light and seamless palate. Drinking at point, yet with a solid 4-6 years of prime drinking to go, this is beautiful stuff and has an almost Rayas like transparency."

91 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Vivid red color. Energetic red and dark berry aromas expand with air, picking up fresh rose and incense qualities. Deeply concentrated raspberry and blackberry flavors are given spine by dusty minerality, turning firmer on the close. Fine-grained tannins guide the sweet fruit through a long, gently chewy finish. This seems more vibrant than the O.G. today, and there's the structure here to suggest that it will repay a few more years of patience."

Description:

WINE:
"Our second riff on Grenache is called The Chronique. We were compelled to call it such (the French spelling of 'chronic') because we felt it aptly described our being when we drank it and couldn't stop. We were able to put together just a few more cases to share this time. The first go around a gentleman named Andre Young, got a case. We shared a laugh, word got out, and the wine evaporated." -Winery

WINERY:
"Betts & Scholl is a cooperative effort between Master Sommelier, Richard Betts, Wine Director to all friends at the Little Nell in Aspen, and Dennis Scholl, contemporary art collector and and joyous wine drinker, who typically finds himself in either Aspen or Miami Beach. Together, we have forged special relationships with star growers and winemakers from around the world to share in our project." -Winery
