Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

More Ratings:

92-94 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition (60% Grenache, a whopping 35% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre) is aged in tank (the Grenache and Mourvedre) and oak (the Syrah). This impressive, full-bodied, dense purple-colored wine reveals plenty of sweet aromas of blackberries, black raspberries, licorice, camphor and flowers. It should drink well for 15+ years."

91-93+ Pts Jeb Dunnuck - The Rhone Report

"Possessing loads of potential and a decadently ripe profile, the 2010 Domaine Giraud Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition will most likely eclipse the ’09. Showing thick blackberry liqueur, licorice, and meaty characteristics on the nose, the wine is very rich and full on the palate, while at the same time holding on to a balanced, fresh feel. There’s real depth here and this will most likely benefit from short to mid-term cellaring and age gracefully for 10-12 years. "

90-92 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Bright purple. Ripe dark berries on the nose, with floral and herbal nuances adding complexity. Round, sappy and smooth, offering deep, sweet blackberry and boysenberry flavors and a hint of warmth on the back end. Finishes with very good power and length, leaving dark fruit notes behind."

Description:

WINE NOTES:
"Vineyards: source from estate owned vineyards across the appellation, age of Vines: 60-80 years old, aging: 12-18 months in tank for Grenache & Mourvedre and barrique for Syrah" -Importer

ESTATE:
"The "domaine" saw the light of day thanks to Pierre and Mireille Giraud's zeal and two families coming together. The story begins in 1974 when Pierre and Mireille, as their parents did before them, took on 4 hectares (10 acres) of vines. Little by little the Domaine has grown through years exclusively on the appellation. In 1998, Pierre was ready to pass on his love of the vine and wine to his children."

"Marie and François took on the estate hand-in-hand. Under their parents' watchful eye, they devoted themselves to tending vines and winemaking. They focused their efforts on selecting parcel by parcel, doing minimal treatments, upgrading their cellar to make finer and finer wines while respecting family traditions. Francois tries hard to tend each parcel and variety respecting the "terroir" as much as possible, that alchemy nature provides us with, to fully express our grapes' full character." -Importer
