Cinderella Wine says: Product Details:
Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $34.98. There are 21 other stores that sell this from $34.20 to $46.80. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Free Shipping on every order of 6 or more bottles!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

92 Pts Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media

"Pale yellow-gold. Sexy leesy nuances add interest to the aromas of peach, flowers and minerals. Dense, juicy and mineral-driven, with strong acidity framing the intense flavors of pineapple, lemon, mint and minerals. Finishes long and clean. Ric Forman notes that his no-malo chardonnay normally begins showing its charm about 18 months after the bottling (this one was bottled in June of 2010), typically revealing hazelnut and creme brulee character over the years. This bottling has a track record for evolving slowly in bottle." 92 points - Stephen Tanzer - International Wine Cellar

WINE:
"A small quantity of Chardonnay is also produced at Forman Vineyard. A passion for a more austere Chablis style wine from this noble grape has been my goal for more than 36 years. Since 1980 the Rutherford Star vineyard in the heart of the Rutherford Bench appellation has been the source of the Forman Vineyard Chardonnay. In 1986 this vineyard was purchased and is now co-owned as a partnership. It has continued to produce consistent quality over the last 20 years."

"The Chardonnay is whole cluster pressed and exclusively fermented in Burgundy barrels. Left 'sur-lees' for 7 months the wine is only racked once during its 9 months of barrel aging. Malolactic fermentation is intentionally inhibited. The wine emphasizes and develops a minerality which, with age, develops into a very racy and elegant food worthy wine." -Winery

WINERY:
"I founded Forman Vineyard in 1983 to fulfill a dream of producing, as a sole proprietor, small quantities of classically made Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. After a 3 year search of the Napa Valley for the perfect location, I purchased, in 1978, the current winery/vineyard site which is perched on a ridge at the base of Howell Mountain overlooking the town of St. Helena. A remarkable site, it has produced some unusually elegant wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot." -Rick Forman, Owner
