Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

89 Pts Allen Meadows - Burghound

"An intensely earthy, sauvage and rustic nose also speaks of primarily dark berry fruit nuances that precede a rich, bold and full-flavored mid-palate that culminates in a sappy, dusty and impressively long finish. As one would reasonably expect, this is not particularly refined but there is plenty of wine present. Worth your attention for cellaring over the mid-term." 89 points - Allen Meadows - Burghound

WINERY:
"CHAMPY was created in 1720 by Edme CHAMPY, a Master Cooper in Beaune. It was the first ever Burgundian negociant established and for most of its operating life has been family run. In 1990, the current director Pierre MEURGEY (with his father Henri) purchased CHAMPY with the conviction to revitalise its historic reputation."

"Pierre comes from a long line of Burgundian winemakers and brokers, and understands the business from the ground up. CHAMPY is a small, passionate, family run business. The company’s principle is not to grow significantly, but to consistently produce artisanal wines with continued supply."

"For nearly 300 years, CHAMPY has produced the best examples of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir on the Cote d’Or, that are enjoyed by customers the world over. Although CHAMPY is definitely an estate with a long history, today it is looking forward to its bright and tremendous future." -Winery

WINES:
"The grape sources of CHAMPY are divided into two parts: the Domaine Champy consists of 27 hectares (acquired since 1990) all located in the Cote de Beaune. Other appellations are sourced by long standing contracts with viticulturists (where grapes are purchased, mainly from the Cote de Nuits). The estate produces roughly 40% white wine and 60% red wine. Overall the production philosophy is: controlled yields that express their 'terroirs' are crucial to produce wines of character. CHAMPY's concern for the Bourgogne and 'smaller village' wines is to provide quality and consistency. The premier and grand cru appellations are made to be approachable with the ability to last the long term. The resulting wines offer a unique combination of balance, elegance and purity of fruit. CHAMPY is a small, passionate, family run business. The company's principle is not to grow significantly, but to consistently produce artisanal wines with continued supply." -Winery
