Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $56.98. There is 1 other store that sells this wine at $57. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Free Shipping on every order of 3 or more bottles!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

92 Pts Wine & Spirits

"At first glance this seems to be dominated by plush, velvety flavors of mandarin orange, papaya and mango, but underneath there is a suggestion of soil, a spicy, earthy minerality that subtly infuses the palate. It's remarkable for that mineral expression and sense of place." 92 points Wine & Spirits

"An exotic, off-dry white, with a round mouthfeel showcasing the lychee, rose petal, grapefruit peel and white pepper flavors. Clearly defined by the firm structure and good acidity, with a honeyed note lingering on the zesty finish. Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Muscat and Sylvaner. Drink now through 2015. 125 cases imported." 90 points Wine Spectator

"Pale gold-tinged yellow. Orange peel, nutmeg, clove and honey on the slightly high-toned and rather inscrutable nose. Superripe, exotic and high-toned, with an intensely spicy character and considerable richness and size. This is quite sweet but finishes distinctly drier and a bit phenolic. I'd forget about this big boy for a decade." 90 points - Stephen Tanzer - International Wine Cellar

WINE:
"This wine comes from the Burg vineyard, whose geological characteristics (marl with some calcerous soils) and climate (wholly south-facing, protected by the valley) permits year after a year the development of a wine of great strength, complexity, structure and length. On the palate it is a wine of substantial weight, with minerality, and with the spice that is typical of marl plantings – cardamonm, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. (all 13 Alsace varietals are planted in the vineyard and used)." -Importer

WINERY:
"Jean-Michel Deiss is descended from a family of winegrowers who first settled Bergheim in 1744, and the grandson of Marcel Deiss, who founded the family winery in 1947. Jean-Michel was forced by circumstance to run his family estate, and unwillingly made to attend oenology school. Once he started producing his own wines, he set about rejecting most of what he had been taught and time and again finding his own path. Over the course of twenty-five years Jean-Michel has brought Domaine Marcel Deiss into its modern era, and become acknowledged as one of the greatest white wine producers in the world." -Importer
