Cinderella Wine says: Product Details:
Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $24.98. There are 3 other stores that sell this from $24.99 to $69.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Due to the savings on this offer, there is no free shipping.

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

92 Pts Wine Spectator

"Aromas of blackberry, mineral and coffee. Full-bodied, with big, velvety tannins and a long, long finish. Juicy and concentrated. New world in Bolgheri. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah. Best after 2008. 1,200 cases made. -JS" 92 points Wine Spectator

"The 2003 Montepergoli is a knock-out effort. A deep, saturated ruby, it bursts forth from the glass with an exciting array of super-ripe dark fruit, cassis, smoke, chocolate, tar and mineral notes on an ample, generous frame with excellent overall balance. The concentration of the fruit helps to hide the slightly unripe tannins that clip the finish. Still, this is a beautiful Bolgheri Rosso that will especially appeal to those who love an ultra-ripe expression of fruit. This blend of 40% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 5% Sangiovese saw 18 months of aging in barrique. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2015." 91 points - Antonio Galloni - Wine Advocate

WINE:
"The wine is produced from a strict selection of grapes and must from four varieties: Merlot (40%), Cabernet Sauvignon (35%), Syrah (20%) and Sangiovese (5%). To achieve a perfect harmony between the vine and terroir, the entire vineyard is organically farmed. The grapes are vinified separately with a prolonged maceration period of 20-28 days. Temperature-controlled fermentation is followed by malolactic in French barrique with an additional 20 months of aging. Each vintage is held for a minimum of 6 months in bottle prior to release. Only 700-1,000 cases of this wine are produced in a given vintage." -Importer

WINERY:
"After only a handful of vintages Enrico Santini has made a name for himself as one of the most dynamic and respected new producers in Bolgheri. In the midst of Bolgheri's larger estates, Santini is a true 'garagiste' in the region, with only 32 acres of vineyards and having transformed his garage and the basement of his home to a winery. A native of Bolgheri, from the village of Castagneto Carducci, Enrico spent 15 years working in the supermarket industry before leaving to work for a friend's winery. After a few years, he ventured out on his own - with no winery, no vineyards, no equipment and, as he puts it, mortgages enough for two lives. Enrico planted his first vineyard in 1998 and was immediately put on the map when the second vintage of his wine Montepergoli won the Tre Bicchieri - a major achievement for a completely unknown winery. Enrico produces limited quantities of two red blends and one white blend made from separately vinified varieties, all grown on his organically farmed vineyards." -Importer
