We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Description:

2007 CHATEAU HAUT BRISSON LA RESERVE:
"The outstanding 2007 La Reserve is one of the vintage's most interesting wines. Its new oak component is more than adequately compensated for with copious quantities of black currant and black cherry fruit, cedarwood, and spice box notes. Generous and opulent with medium to full body and a long, layered finish, it should drink well for 7-10 years." -90 points Robert Parker

"80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon , and 5% Cabernet Franc. The aromatics are really full, you've got this raspberry/radish thing going on that I think is fascinating. So you get a little hint of vegetal, with a lot of fruit as well. This still has tremendous structure and tannins, balanced throughout, and really an aggressive Right Bank structure that really excites me. This is a red fruit wine, not a dark fruit wine, with a midpalate that's kind of chalky, grainy, and a hint of Old World, that really this is not going to be mistaken for a Washington State Merlot. This is through and through Old World Bordeaux. This is easily one of the better deals we've had in 2011." -Gary Vaynerchuk

2009 DOMAINE PONTIFICAL CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE:
"Lovely cassis, plum sauce and raspberry notes are laced with perfumy incense and anise in this restrained and silky red. Fleshy and driven on the finish, with good latent grip that sails on with a suave, polished feel. Drink now through 2021." 91 Points - Wine Spectator

WINE:
"The vineyards cover 17 hectares, including 1 hectare planted white varieties and are spread over 30 different plots all over the appellation. Most of the lieu-dits are situated in the western area...The regular red Chateauneuf-du-Pape consists of 75% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre, 5% Cinsault, and 5% Counoise. The grapes are partly destemmed. Vinification is traditional and the wine ages for 12 months in foudres." -Harry Karis, The Chateauneuf du Pape Book

WINERY:
"As long ago as early in the 1920s, Albert Laget's great-grandfather already sold almost all of his wine in bottle. In 1928 one of his wines won a Gold Medal at the Salon de la Gastronomie in Paris. Francois Laget, the 4th generation, took over from his father in 1978. Present time he runs the domaine with his wife Isabelle...the aging cellar goes all the way back to 1883." -Harry Karis, The Chateauneuf du Pape Book
