Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

94 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Made from an identical blend, the 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition reveals deep kirsch liqueur notes intermixed with raspberries, smoked herbs, roasted meats and hoisin sauce. Complex, with great fruit, a voluptuous mouthfeel, low acidity and sweet tannin, it can be consumed over the next 10-15 years." 94 Points - Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

"Dense but stylish, with a silky texture to the cassis, macerated cherry and linzer torte flavors, followed by ample spice, pepper, warm ganache and black tea notes filling in the finish. Very fresh acidity carries it all deftly. Best from 2012 through 2023. 345 cases imported." 93 Points - Wine Spectator

"Showing similar tannic strength to the Les Gallimardes, the 2009 Domaine Giraud Châteauneuf-du-Pape possesses an earthy, mineral core with complementing raspberry and blackberry fruit, spice, and licorice aromatics. Medium+ bodied with ripe tannin, solid texture and a long finish, this should benefit from 2 to 4 years in the cellar and drink well for 15." 91-93 - Jeb Dunnuck - Rhone Report

WINE NOTES:
"Vineyards: source from estate owned vineyards across the appellation, age of Vines: 60-80 years old, aging: 12-18 months in tank for Grenache & Mourvedre and barrique for Syrah" -Importer

ESTATE:
"The "domaine" saw the light of day thanks to Pierre and Mireille Giraud's zeal and two families coming together. The story begins in 1974 when Pierre and Mireille, as their parents did before them, took on 4 hectares (10 acres) of vines. Little by little the Domaine has grown through years exclusively on the appellation. In 1998, Pierre was ready to pass on his love of the vine and wine to his children."

"Marie and François took on the estate hand-in-hand. Under their parents' watchful eye, they devoted themselves to tending vines and winemaking. They focused their efforts on selecting parcel by parcel, doing minimal treatments, upgrading their cellar to make finer and finer wines while respecting family traditions. Francois tries hard to tend each parcel and variety respecting the "terroir" as much as possible, that alchemy nature provides us with, to fully express our grapes' full character." -Importer

This wine was also score 88 points by the International Wine Cellar.
