We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

"Purple; pepper, herbs, incense, lavender, blackberry; forward, easy-going, lengthy finish." 91 Points - Jay Miller - Wine Advocate

VITICULTURE & VINIFICATION:
"The harvest took place between May 7 to May 13, during the time in which the grapes presented their higher organoleptic potential in terms of aroma and tannins."

"Bunches were gently de-stemmed, selected, crushed and stored in stainless steel tanks to be cold-soaked in order to extract a deep colour and fruit expression. The must was subsequently at controlled temperatures (24-28oC) 100% of this wine was kept during 14 months barrels (70% French oak and 30% American oak) in order to rest in bottle for 6 months." -Winery

WINE:
"This cherry red carménère with burgundy notes showcases an intense, alluring aroma, with a bouquet charged with ripe black and red fruits such as blueberries, blackberries, redcurrant, strawberries and cherries, enhanced with spicy notes that blend harmoniously with touches of chocolate, coffee and tobacco. The mouth offers a rich structure, well-balanced and full-bodied, with fat, velvety tannins which give it that full, round finish with an aftertaste evoking chocolate and tobacco." -Winemaker

ESTATE:
"Queulat Single Vineyard wines are the creation of winemaker Sergio Hormazabal, the fruit of his passion and commitment to excellence, conceived from the very beginning with fine cuisine in mind."

"These are wines that bring perfection to every occasion, elegant wines with character and balance, made even more special by an ageing regimen in French oak. Seven varietals are showcased at their best, creating infinite possibilities for foodpairing. Thus, we are able to achieve that moment of perfect balance."

"Queulat wines take their name from southern Chile's most spectacular hanging glacier, a sight that is both imposing and elegant. Extensive research on terroir in Casablanca(for whites and Pinot Noir) and in the Maipo Valley (for reds) allows us to highlight every variety at its best, with oak as a backdrop for each grape's unique personality." -Winery

This wine was also scored 87 points by the International Wine Cellar as well as the Wine Enthusiast.
