The 2005 Elyse Morisoli Cabernet is a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot from Napa Valley in California and the ABV is 14.4%. The 2006 Steve Hoff Cabernet is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Barossa Valley in Australia and the ABV is 15%.

"The vineyard is in the heart of the Rutherford bench. The wine is rich in fruit and tannins, but a bit clumsy, with a chunky, tannic mouthfeel and jammy, direct blackberry and blueberry fruit flavors. Not ready for drinking now, but well-made, and should age well, as Cabs from this stretch tend to have a long life." 92 Points - Wine Enthusiast

"The 2005 Morisoli Cabernet is dark crimson-colored with an equally deep nose of mushrooms, densely textured earth, cassis, and blackberries along with its ubiquitous graphite and cedar. On the palate, this full-bodied wine shows focused flavors of cassis, wild blackberries, and dark plums accented by dusty earth and crushed stone. It finishes with vibrant fruit fla- vors, silky tannins, and underlying oak nuances. True to form, it displays the power and elegance that is so characteristic of this vineyard." -Winemaker
