"A firmly dry wine, driven by the dark tannins, only opening slowly to give ripe berry fruits. The soft side of the wine does bring out the lighter nature of the Baga in the blend, which has been tamed by wood aging. There is a final flourish of fresh black plum juice." 90 Points - Wine Enthusiast

"Alianca was founded in 1927, over 80 years ago, by 11 associates leaded by Domingos Silva e Angelo Neves, in Sangalhos (Anadia’s county), Bairrada region. The company started it’s activity exporting to Brasil, África and Europe, representing, nowadays, more than 50% of Aliança’s production."

"Wine, sparkling wine and brandy’s quality are the brands image in Portugal and in the 60 other countries where Aliança exports. Present in the main wine regions of the country, Aliança believes in quality, and to accomplish the goal, the company purchased several Estates, in regions as Alentejo, Douro, Dão, Bairradas and Beiras, exploring around 600 ha of winery."

Aliança also has other small vineyards planted in 2002, intended to give continuity to the wine Project, where Tinta Roriz e Merlot castes are privileged." -Winery
