Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

"Lilting, inviting aromas of mulled mint and warm espresso lead the way for a rich but supple palate of warm fig, currant preserve and bittersweet licorice. The long, suave finish lets a loamy edge play out. Old-school and lovely. Drink now through 2013. 2,760 cases made." -92 Points - Wine Spectator

"Domus Aurea’s 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is a glass-coating opaque purple color. It exhibits an aromatic array of wood smoke, Asian spices, rose petal, cinnamon, and blackcurrant. Dense and layered on the palate, with chewy extract, it is structured for the long haul. Only a slight trace of bitterness in the finish keeps the score from being exceptional." 91 Points - Jay Miller - Wine Advocate

WINE:
"Domus Aurea is the cream of our wines¸ the result of skillful winemakers and the best possible natural conditions. Its texture¸ its flavor¸ round and pleasant tannins¸ will never be forgotten¸ such as the happy drinkers of this piece of art do think they know the secrets of the Maipo valley"

"Eucalyptus notes¸ balance and freshness of its cherries and chocolate zest are the promises of Domus Aurea. Nevertheless¸ the fact that the whole process is squared by the same respect for tradition and the “terroir”¸ makes every vintage a unique wine. This wine is unfiltered to preserve the original flavor and integrity¸ which will be much appreciated if you guard it for a long time."

"The wine is kept in french oaks for 18 months. The blend study begins after the first four transfers, always with the same respect for the identity that Domus orders. The wines are bottled after being blended, and then kept for 18 more months previous to their commercial launch." -Winemaker

VINEYARD:
"Clos Quebrada De Macúl is a single hillside family owned vineyard planted to cabernet sauvignon back in 1970 when it was unheard of in Chile to plant on more difficult-to-farm, lower-yielding hillside sites. The vines planted there are 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, and a 20% blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc."

"The grape harvest in Clos Quebrada de Macul usually begins in April and lasts one month. The grapes are not separated on a simple quality criteria, but either on their identity, proper to the Domus style." -Winery
