"100% Chardonnay. The wine was barrel fermented for a period of 12 months. It shows some aromas of white flower, fresh almond, hazelnut, mint, fresh butter, brioche and toast. On the palate the wine is round and rich in structure with a beautiful balance of fruit, terroir, and outstanding minerality. The finish is long and harmonious. A clear cut stunner." -Winery

Vineyard: 1.7hectares, east/ south east exposure
Soils: Shale and calcareous soil with some clay and small pebbles. Soils drain well.
Aging: 12 months in barrel of which 50% are new, 30% one year, and 20% 2-3 years.

"Lamy-Pillot is a family-owned estate located in Chassagne Montrachet. There are 20 hectares of vines, and we work from the vines to the bottle. We produce 80,000-100,000 bottles each year, in 30 different red and white wine appellations."
