"Medium ruby color; deep, complex aromas of black cherry and spice; rich, ripe black cherry flavors with spicy, cinnamon notes; silky texture, nice sweet oak; good structure and balance; long finish. A lush Pinot but also very elegant and refined. Needs some air to open up and has some very nice flavors." -92 Points - Pinot Report

"Brandon Miller grew up with wine as a part of his family life. By the time he was in college he was beginning to collect bottles of Napa Valley Cabernet. Like many of us, he had a "Pinot epiphany" that turned him on to Pinot Noir for good. His was when he tasted the 2002 Truckee River Winery Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir (a terrific wine). From there he began to search out the Pinots he really liked."

His friend (and current winemaker) Jason Moore introduced him to James Hall from Patz and Hall and a short time later, he was in the wine business.
