"The 2008 Reserve Chardonnay was 50% barrel-fermented and part of the wine went through malolactic fermentation. The nose offers up baking spices, toast notes, white peach, and poached pear. With good acidity, the wine is reminiscent of a mid-level Chablis. The flavors are savory and the wine has solid length. Drink it over the next 3-4 years." -88 Points - Jay Miller - Wine Advocate

"By the Andes, altitude 4000 feet. Rocky soil of loose structure. Parcel selection, pruning, irri- gation and clusters handling obtain low yields and high quality grapes. -Winery

WINEMAKING:
"Harvest by hand in small cases, by the end of February and beginning of March. Grape cluster selection (sorting table). Skin contact at low temperature, must cold maceration during 10 days. Fermentation through selected yeasts at controlled temperature during 25 days. Fifty percent of wine fermentation in new Frenck oak barrels during six months. -Winemaker

WINE:
"Golden yellow colour of good intensity. Intense tropical fruits: pineapple, mango, and peach, with delicate citric and mineral hints. Vanilla and toast notes confer elegance and complexi- ty. In the mouth, it shows a concentrated sweet entrance of good balance leading to a fresh and persistent finish." -Winery
