We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

96 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The super-star of the Chateauneuf du Papes is the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Bargeton. Made from 80% tank-aged Grenache (nearly 100-year-old vines) and the rest barrel-aged Syrah and Mourvedre, this cuvee comes from the famed Galets Roules of the renowned sector of Chateauneuf du Pape called La Crau. A dense plum/purple color precedes notes of roasted herbs, licorice, smoked duck, soy, blackberries, cassis, and plums. Fabulously pure fruit, a full, layered texture, and a finish displaying exceptional intensity, purity, and length (50 seconds) suggests this superb Chateauneuf du Pape may be the finest effort Patrick Lesec has yet fashioned. It should drink well for 12-14 years." -96 points Robert Parker

"Bright ruby. A complex, floral-dominated bouquet shows raspberry, incense, smoky minerals, and strong rose and lavender qualities. Darker fruits dominate the palate, with anise and bitter chocolate notes complementing deep, ripe cherry and black raspberry flavors. The finish repeats the cherry and floral notes and lingers with excellent persistence. For a ripe wine this is impressively lively." -92 points- Josh Raynolds- International Wine Cellar

"This wine comes from 20-90 year old vines and is sourced from La Crau. The soils are clay-limestone soil with pebbles. The grapes are harvested by hand and the yields are 20-30 hectoliters per hectare. This spends 18-25 days macerating and is aged in small older oak barrels." -Importer

"Patrick Lesec established his negociant firm in 1993. Having found that customers in his restaurant in California were frequently disappointed with French wines, he began to seek out his own sources of supply, mostly from the Rhone Valley...Patrick Lesec Selections includes eight different estate-bottled red wines from Chateauneuf du Pape. Patrick works closely with 'non-interventionist' producers under contract to make top quality wines."

"Some of the vineyards are located in the lieux-dits La Crau, Valori, Le Cristia...and Palestor. All of these wines have a high content of old Grenache...and are treated with as little sulfur as possible. They are neither fined nor filtered." -Harry Karis, The Chateauneuf du Pape Wine Book
