VINIFICATION:
"The wines are aged for 20 months in French oak Burgundy barrels from five different coopers 225L and 300L. Clos Abella comes from 5,7 ha of vineyards, all organically farmed. We adapt biodynamic methods to our particular environment."

"Manual picking. Selection of grapes both at the vine and entering the winery. Different parcels and grape varieties are vinificated separately. Slow and natural fermentation using only indigenous yeasts. 10 days of fermentation at approximately 32ÂºC and 45 days of maceration. Age of the vines: Between 11 and 100 years old." -Winery

-La Mallola: Black slate at 600 metres of altitude. South oriented.
- El Perer: Slate mixed with iron ore at 450 metres of altitude. South-west oriented.
- La Mina: Slate mixed with iron ore . The name of 'Mina' comes from an small iron mine dated from 19th Century . 450 metres of altitude. South west oriented.
