Cinderella Wine says: Product Details:
Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $9.99. There are 4 other stores that sell this wine from $9.99 to $16.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results!

Free Shipping on orders of 8 bottles or more!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

90 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Dark purple. Cassis and dark cherry on the nose, with smoked meat and black cardamom adding depth and a serious mien. A weighty, structured blend with sweet dark berry compote flavors and supple tannins adding support. Surprisingly lively on the finish, which repeats the dark berry qualities and leaves a zesty, peppery note behind. This is an outstanding value but needs some air to show its best." -90 points- Josh Raynolds- International Wine Cellar

WINERY:
"Formed in 2001 Santa Quiteria's production is focused on a type of Grenache known as Garnacha Tintorera. Other grape varieties used, but to a much lesser extent, are Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet and Petit Verdot. The site of the vineyards is at an altitude of between 900 and 1100 meters, which has proven ideal for this special clone of Grenache." -Importer

ALMANSA D.O.
"The region is on the border covering portions of Alicante, Valencia and Murcia. Vineyards were developed here in the 16th Century. The majority of production was shipped to other regions for blending as the wines had copious color and good structure."

"Climate: Extreme continental climate with summer temperatures reaching over 100 and winter temperatures falling to the teens in the winter. Rain averages a scant 14 inches a year."

"Soil: Soils are composed of limestone, calcerous soils and some with combinations of clay and limestone."

"Grape Varities: Garnacha Tintorera (aka Alicante 'Bouschet') and Monastrell account for the majority of planted vines. These produce dark, ripe and intensely flavored wines. Garnacha Tintorera is one of the very few grapes that has colored flesh and consequently colored juice immediately upon harvest." -Importer

This received 85 points by Jay Miller of the Wine Advocate and 82 points in the Wine Spectator.
