Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $29.98. There are two other stores that sell this at $29.89. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results!

Free Shipping on orders of 2 bottles or more!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

90 Pts David Schildknecht - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The latest vintage from Alain Gallety (for more about whom, see issue 178), this Grenache-Syrah blend 2006 Cotes du Vivarais is strikingly scented with fresh black raspberry, fennel, and rosemary. Mouth-filling and vivacious- a personality that mitigates its slight alcoholic heat- this ripe, resin-tinged, smoky concentrate clings with sap-like intensity and a rather medicinal amalgam of bitter-sweet dark fruits and herbal elixir. It will be well worth following for at least 3-4 years." -90 points- David Schildknecht- Wine Advocate

WINE:
"The first time we tasted Domaine Gallety was in the summer of 2007 when the domaine sent a few sample bottles of their 2005 Cotes du Vivarais to Kermit at his home in Bandol. Kermit wrote me in Beaune after tasting the samples with his old pal Francois Peyraud of Domaine Tempier to tell me that the wine had really impressed them. Kermit was particularly struck by the quality of the Syrah, which is able to ripen more evenly and slowly in the slightly cooler climate of the Vivarais (located in the expanse of rolling hills between the appellations of the southern and northern Rhone Valley) and therefore has more in common with northern Rhone Syrah than southern Syrah..."

"While tasting the 2006 Cotes du Vivarais, I distinctly remember a dark, inky purple wine that was as smooth as velvet with all the violets and spice of northern Rhone Syrah combined with the powerfully ripe fruit of southern Rhone Grenache. No hard edge to speak of, cool and composed, impeccable balance. All the vines are close to 50 years old and they have been worked organically since the early 80's, long before this was in fashion. The fruit is fermented in cement tanks and aged in older Burgundian barrels until being bottled unfined and unfiltered. The old wines they uncork during visits to their winery prove that their Cotes de Vivarais...can last and develop for at least 10-15 years." -Importer

PRODUCER:
"'The Ardeche region is home to the great Syrahs from Cornas, Hermitage, and Saint Joseph. To the south of the Ardeche, the Vaucluse produces the finest Grenache-based wines from appellations like Gigondas and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Guess where Domaine Gallety is located. Between Ardeche and Vaucluse! At Gallety I was struck by the perfect blend, and by the incredible elegance they achieve with the two grape varietals. It exudes class from start to finish and is drinking beautifully.'" -Importer Kermit Lynch on this producer

"Here is a wine, a grower (and perhaps an appellation) that deserves not to stay below the proverbial radar. Across the Rhone from the Coteaux du Tricastin, Alain Gallety...took the reins here in 1982 at the age of 18..." -Review by David Schildknecht in issue #178 the Wine Advocate
