The Valderiz is 100% Tempranillo from Ribera Del Duero in Spain and the ABV is 14.5%. The 2002 Rentas des Fincas Rioja Reserva is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, and 10% Mazuelo from Spain in Rioja and the ABV is 13%.

The vineyards of Bodegas y Viñedos Valderiz currently consist of 60 hectares planted by Tomás Esteban and 10 hectares which belonged to his father and which have been successfully maintained."

"After 20 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks at 86 degrees Fahreinheit, the wine is transferred to new tanks where it goes through malolactic fermentation naturally. Then it is placed into barrels of American and French oak where it is aged for 12 months." -Winery
