Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

95 Pts Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2006 Astrales Christina is a single vineyard selection, sees malolactic fermentation in barrel, and is aged in 100% new oak. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it gives up a superb aromatic array of toasty new oak, pencil lead, lavender, leather, incense, blueberry, and black cherry. Opulent, dense, and layered on the palate, this youthful effort is impeccably balanced and built for the long haul. Give it at least 8-10 years of additional cellaring and drink it from 2016 to 2036. Patience will be well rewarded." -95 points- Jay Miller- Wine Advocate

"Sleek and polished, this red has plenty of structure and depth. Blackberry, espresso, floral and mineral flavors build through the fresh, long finish. Alluring, expressive and modern, yet stays true to its roots. Drink now through 2016. 200 cases made." -93 Points Wine Spectator

"Inky ruby. Smoky aromas of raspberry, cherry-cola, licorice and dried flowers. Smooth, sappy red fruit preserve flavors are enlivened by tangy mineral and spice notes, gaining structure with air. Showing more oak than the regular Astrales, with the finish displaying a strong spiciness and very good cut." -91 Points- Josh Raynolds- International Wine Cellar

WINE:
"This special wine is only made in exceptional years. There are three major factors differentiating this wine versus the 'regular' bottling of Astrales. First, the wine will be a selection of the strongest single vineyard each year, depending on vintage characteristics and winemaker Eduardo Garcia's impressions; the 2005 and 2006 are both from the Fuentesanta vineyard. Second, all of the wine sees malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Third, the wine is aged in only new French oak."

"This wine is made from a seleccion of fruit from Pago de Fuentesanta. Pago de Fuentesanta is an 80 year old, hillside vineyard planted in vaso, with a southeastern exposure. All grapes were manually harvested into small boxes. Yields were miniscule; less than 1 ton/acre. The wine was fermented in 2,000 Kg tanks with native yeasts and saw 15 days contact with skins. The wine was then aged for 24 months in 100% New French oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered." -Importer
