Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"Here's a Brunello with a determined focus on sophistication and elegance. The wine is smooth and pristine and delivers delicate nuances of wild berry, graphite, smoke and Indian spice. The overall approach here is one that fully embraces Brunello tradition: the wine offers power and intensity but not in an exaggerated manner." -92 Points Wine Enthusiast

"Has some earthy character, with raspberry and blackberry aromas. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long finish. A bit tight now, but pretty, cheery and structured. Best after 2009. 6,600 cases made." -90 Points Wine Spectator

"The 2004 Brunello di Montalcino from Pietranera is a sweeping, rich Brunello loaded with black cherries, violets, spices, new leather and French oak. Made in a big, powerful style, the wine possesses notable vibrancy and detail, along with more than enough fruit to balance the firm tannins. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2021." -90 Points- Antonio Galloni- Wine Advocate

WINE:
"The vineyards are in the south-east side of Montalcino. The fruit is harvested the first half of October. Grapes are picked from the bunch and softly squeezed; the maceration takes place in stainless steel vats for a period of 25 days with repeated wine-pressings and delestages. During this phase the alcoholic fermentation is completed and controlled at a temperature of 28-30 °C."

"After the fermentation method has been completed, the wine spends 24-30 months in Slavonian oak barrels of 50 hectolitres. It is then aged for another 6 months in stainless steel vats, and at least 12 months in the bottles before being put on the market, at the beginning of the fifth year after the harvest. Intense ruby-red, with a tendency to garnet-red with the ageing. On the nose, this is round, intense well-balanced, with a long finish. On the palate, this is complex, elegant, full-bodied, velvety. Red meat and game, matured cheeses and complex dishes are great pairings for this wine. Open 1-2 hours before being served." -Winery
