Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $65.98. There are other stores selling this from $64.95 to $84.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results!

Free Shipping on orders of 2 bottles or more!

90 Pts Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media

"Pale green-tinged yellow. Reticent, cool aromas of pear, lemon, lime, white pepper and vanilla. Rich, fat, seamless and sweet but with good lift to the ripe stone fruit flavors owing to solid acidity. A bit youthfully subdued but pure. The wine's firm, minerally finish calls for a bit of patience. This one only finished fermenting its sugar in July of '07." -90 points- Stephen Tanzer- International Wine Cellar

"A small step up in elegance and aromatic refinement with ripe white peach, pear and lemon peel hints that precede rich, full, sweet and opulent flavors that finish with excellent persistence on the dry and slightly woody finish. My score offers the benefit of the doubt that the wood will integrate with a year or two in bottle." -89-91 points- Allen Meadows- Burghound

WINE:
"A quintessential Charmes of round, lush texture, this is a full, seductive Chardonnay marked more by ripe peach and apricot flavors and approachability rather than by elegance, with a velvety texture and long finish." -Importer

REGION:
"Meursault is the commercial center of the four communes comprising that part of the Cote de Beaune known as the 'Cote des Blancs,' so named for the quality and predominance of its white wines. The communes of Meursault, Blagny, Chassagne and Puligny define this four-mile strip characterized by a patchwork of chalky soils ideally suited to the Chardonnay grape. Of the 1,138 acres of vineyards, predominantly planted in white vines, which fall in the three classifications Meursault, Meursault Premier Cru, and Meursault-Blagny, approximately 30 percent are ranked premier cru. These thirteen premier crus are situated in six 'climats' cutting a wide path through the center of Meursault northward from the border of Puligny; four in Blagny, also along the Puligny border to the west of Meursault; and three along the northern edge of Meursault at its border with Volnay. It is generally agreed that, in descending order of surface area, the six finest premiers crus are: Les Charmes, Les Genevrieres, Les Perrieres, Les Poruzots, La Goutte d'Or and Les Boucheres."

"Meursault-Charmes lies at the southern end of the commune on the border of Puligny-Montrachet, on the slope below Perrieres and adjacent to Les Genevrieres. The largest of Meursault's premiers crus by a considerable margin, it covers 77 acres in the parcels of Les Charmes-Dessus (the upper parcel), with 35 acres, and Les Charmes-Dessous (the lower parcel), with 42 acres."

"The soils of Les Charmes, due to their lower position on the slope, are richer and heavier than the thin, stony soils of Les Perrieres above it, and yields the most typical Meursault premier cru. Though less racy and elegant than Perrieres or Genevrieres, Charmes is above all a seductive, approachable wine; round, lush and ample on the palate, with slightly less acidity than the former. Maison Louis Jadot maintains purchase contracts with growers in this cru, and practices a traditional vinification in oak casks, the age and origin of which are determined by the qualities of the vintage, to produce a quintessential Charmes with full, ripe fruit flavors, a fat, velvety texture and a bouquet redolent of peaches and apricots." -Importer
