The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

91 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"From an undeniably grand cru site, the elegant 2006 Chardonnay Ritchie Vineyard comes across like a Chablis, revealing notes of lemons, oranges, melons, citrus oil, wet stones, and white currants. With crisp acidity, a steely backbone, a striking minerality, and an elegant personality, it is a pure, deep Chardonnay to enjoy over the next 2-3 years. (12/2007)" -91 points Robert Parker

"A very elaborate Chardonnay showing flavors of exotic fruits, spices, buttered toast and cream. Charred oak and acidity currently dominate, making the wine a little rigid, but a year or two in bottle should soften and sweeten." -90 points Wine Enthusiast

WINE:
"The Ritchie Vineyard consistently produces distinctive Chardonnays, known for their richness and tropical fruit flavors. Bjornstad's representation expresses a somewhat leaner version, consistent with the characteristics of the 2006 vintage. The complex aromas reveal sweet citrus notes of Mandarin orange and Meyer lemon meringue. Creamy vanillas and butterscotch layer nicely with the fruit and toasty oak notes. Flavors follow aromas onto the palate with a beautiful balance of acid and richness that gives way to a long, persistent finish." -Winery

VINEYARDS:
"Kent Ritchie has been farming Chardonnay on his 'Ritchie Vineyard' in the heart of the Russian River Valley appellation since 1972. The vineyard is situated on a bench above the Russian River. The proximity to both the Sonoma Coast and Russian River grants access to the cooling influences of the coastal fog. With high summer temperatures moderated, the fruit is afforded a long growing season, allowing time for optimum fruit maturity. The soils are in the Goldridge series and are well drained, sandy loams. The Bjornstad block is planted to an Old Wente field selection that includes a very floral clone of Chardonnay known as Musque. These old vines produce low yields with a great concentration of flavor and expressions of rich, tropical fruit."

"It's been a great pleasure to work with Kent and his fruit since 1997 along with some of his other winery clients that include Aubert, DuMol, Flowers, Londer, Pahlmeyer, Ramey and Tandem." -Winery

This scored 86 points in the Wine Spectator.
