Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

91 Pts Wine Spectator

"Very ripe and primal, with a pure, lush beam of dark plum and boysenberry fruit that pumps from start to finish, while notes of licorice, black tea and fruitcake flitter around the edges. There's a grippy, slightly raisined edge on the finish, but this stays driven enough. Best from 2010 through 2024. 2,000 cases made." -91 points Wine Spectator

"Dark ruby. Redcurrant and strawberry fruit aromas are lifted by pungent herbs and dried flowers. Supple in texture and invitingly sweet, offering vibrant red berry and floral pastille flavors and no obvious tannins. With its very good finishing punch and lingering notes of sweet red berries, this reminds me of a New World pinot noir." -90 points- Josh Raynolds- International Wine Cellar

VINIFICATION:
"One red Chateauneuf du Pape is produced that consists of 85% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre and 5% Syrah. All grapes are destemmed. Mourvedre and Syrah are vinified together with a portion of the Grenache added. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration takes place at about 20-25 days with frequently executed pigeage [punching down], remontage [pumping over], and delestage [rack and return]. The wine is aged for 6-8 months, 80% in concrete tanks and 20% in 1-3 year old barrels and a few new barrels." -Harry Karis, the Chateauneuf du Pape Wine Book

WINERY:
"For more than a century the Jacumin family have been wine growers in Chateauneuf du Pape. The Domaine la Begude des Papes (Alain Jacumin) was established in 1991 after consolidating the vineyards of Alain and his wife Sylvette Jacumin. Since 2006 their son Albin, who studied at the Lycee Viticole in Beaune and Orange, is in charge of winemaking...Albin Jacumin decided to change the name to Domaine Albin Jacumin. In 2007 the estate built a new vinification cellar close to the town centre, in the backyard of Pegau, equipped with temperature control tanks."

"The property covers 16.25 hectares of vines spread all over the appellation. A white Chateauneuf du Pape is made from a small 0.25 hectare parcel. The average age of the red wines are 50 years. plots with old Grenache vines are situated in the lieu-dit les Brusquieres, on a plateau with clayish limestone soil, which is covered with many large stones. Another plot in Cansaud has a gravely soil which is well draining. The soil at Colombis and Cristia is sandier." -Harry Karis, the Chateauneuf du Pape Wine Book

This also scored 89 points by Robert Parker.
