Sweet-verging-on-exotic, with sound acids nicely framing the red cherry and delicately smoky plum fruit. "Medium ruby red color. Aromas of cherry, violet and candied citrus peel. Medium bodied with a hint of bright red fruit, blackberries and flowers with moderate finish. Piancornello Rosso drinks well now, but it will continue to improve for the next 3 to 4 years. Perfectly suitable with grilled or braised meat and the heartiest of classic Tuscan dishes." -Importer
