Cinderella Wine says: Product Details:
This is a special offer today from 12PM-9PM Eastern! If you are still interested in the 2007 Rudi Pichler Riesling Achleiten Smaragd at the Cindy price ($49.01), please use this code in the Wine Library shopping cart: CINDYrudi . This code will be valid until tonight at 9PM Eastern, with free shipping on 2 or more bottles!

Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $24.98 and we're the best price on the web. There is one other store that sells this for $34.63. You must be logged into the Pro version to see all of the results!

Free Shipping on orders of 4 bottles or more!

Please note there are 2 wines from this winery with very similar names: the one on Cinderella now is this estate's entry level wine- Clos Galena Galena. They have a higher end Priorat called Clos Galena Clos Galena that Wine Library used to carry for $39.98.

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

92 Pts Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2005 Galena is a blend of 35% Garnacha Negra, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 15% Carinena aged for 12 months in French and American oak. Purple-colored, it offers an enticing bouquet of cedar, spice box, earth, mineral, black cherry, and black currant. Supple-textured, ripe, and already complex, this easy-going effort is already delivering much pleasure although it will continue to evolve for another 2-3 years. Drink it through 2020." 92 Points - Jay Miller - Wine Advocate

"When tasting this wine it became very apparent to me that I needed to nail this deal down and fast. This wine is fascinating and more importantly over delivers for $40 let alone $25, the elegance is usually only relegated to the top wines of Bordeaux. Priorat has clearly taken its stage at the top of the wine world with this effort and I can tell you right now that you must grab a case for your cellar and your children for this wine will last for 20-30 years" -94 Points Gary Vaynerchuk

VINEYARDS:
"The winery's vineyard in El Molar (Catalonia) is made up of eleven hectares of wine stocks which are surrounded by woods and open countryside and belong to the prestigious D.O.C. Priorat. Every year the vines are controlled using strictly scientific criteria in order to produce ripe fruit which reflect the 'terroir' and natural surroundings." -Winery

WINERY:
"The winery is called Domini de la Cartoixa and as the name indicates, these lands were once owned by the Carthusian monks of Scala Dei Priory. As well as promoting the cultivation of the vines in the Middle Ages, these monks drenched the Priorat with a spirituality which can still be felt as one walks through the old vineyards today. Grape production is kept low and extreme care is taken, giving top quality wines made using a traditional winemaking system."

WINE:
"Cherry red color with high intensity. The aroma initially reveals the presence of ripe black berry fruit and minerals. Its nose features species like the licorice, opening the way to the balsamic ones, fresh herbs and anisette. This excellent wine offers a structured mouth-filling, with fleshy and fresh tannins making this beauty long and persistent."

This wine has a median score of 90 points in 17 notes on Cellar Tracker. Click the link to see the reviews: http://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=571829
