91 Pts Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2004 Dry Land Shiraz was produced from lower yields and spent 2 years in French oak, 50% new. The bouquet exhibits pain grille, blueberry, blackberry, licorice, and a hint of eucalyptus. Full-bodied, the wine has a velvety texture, layers of sweet, spicy dark fruit flavors, moderate tannin and a long finish. Allow 2-3 years in the cellar for further evolution and drink it through 2020." -91 Points- Jay Miller- Wine Advocate

"Supple and distinctive for the earthy, roasted game character that runs through the ripe cherry and toast flavors, playing deftly against fine-grained tannins and refreshing acidity. Best from 2009 through 2016. 600 cases made" -90 Points Wine Spectator

"The Clare Valley wine region is just over 100km north of the city of Adelaide and is one of the oldest wine producing regions in Australia. It is ideal for wine cultivation with long hot summer days and cool nights resulting in a Continental climate producing full flavoured wines."

"Premium fruit are hand selected ensuring only the best quality berries are used to create our Dry Land Shiraz. Using dry grown fruit from Reilly's Vineyard, Smyth's Vineyard and Stolen Block, this wine is open fermented and gently basket pressed to retain the precise balance of flavours from the various vineyards. After 2 years in American Oak Hogsheads, this wine displays ripe plum and dark berry characteristics." -Winery

This scored 88 points by Josh Raynolds of the International Wine Cellar.
