"Intense aromas of ripe fruit, sandalwood and perfume. Full-bodied, with lovely ripe fruit flavors and velvety tannins. Long, sweet fruit finish. Soft, layered and gorgeous. Exciting in a reserved way. Best after 2008. 770 cases made." -WS

"These grapes are from Nebbiolo, Michet, and Lampia varietals. The vineyards are Romirasco, Cicala, and Colonnelo in Bussia- Monforte d'Alba."

"At present, the farm, which vinifies exclusively its own grapes, consists of about 25 hectares of vineyard. Most of the ground, which is at an altitude of about 400 m. above the sea level, is located South South-West and it is made of more or less compact sand layers of grey-brown colour alternated with white and bluish calcareous marls. The fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Barolo wine ages only inside big traditional Slavonian oak casks, while the other wines age inside French oak barriques."

"The must stays on contact with the skins for 15 days: during this time the alcoholic Vinification usually gets fully complete, and the wine is then drawn off."

"The new wine remains inside stainless steel vats for 3 to 5 months, and it is periodically transferred before being put into big Slavonian oak barrels, where it is left ageing for 36 months."

"The Barolo of the “Granbussia” selection is produced by assembling the grapes of the vineyards Romirasco, Cicala and Colonnello in the following percentages respectively: 70%, 15% and 15% ; however, these ideal values change according to the vintage. The wine remains for 6 years in the cellar before being sold, and it is produced exclusively in the best vintages." - Winery

Hi Fritz – we are working on MI but right now our contracts show it is illegal to ship there!

I kept thinking about it and changing my mind. And when I finally decided to pull the trigger… sold out! Well, maybe tonight’s will be as interesting.

what’s with the midnight start time?
not fair to those early risers out there.how about 8pm, so your cali followers still get it at a decent time but your loyal base, who got you where you are now, isn’t disadvantaged?
plus. we won’t call you a WTSO copycat!

Why is MI on the “do not ship” list? Incidentally, tillsoldout ships to MI. I know, regulations are a rats nest, but I feel really seriously excluded.

So…wonder what’s on deck for tonight? I’m 2/2 so far this week, and I’m actually hoping for something less enticing so I can give the wallet a break. Last night’s deal was just stupid crazy.
