Cinderella Wine says: Product Details:
This item is a presale and is set to arrive by mid-November.

Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $39.99. There is one other store that sells this at $47.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Free shipping on every order of 12 bottles or more!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

#87- Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Wines of 2011

"Massive, flamboyantly rich, a real treasure in the mouth. Just dazzles with the intensity of cherries, black raspberries, Dr. Pepper, plums, sweet vanilla-scented sandalwood and a wild array of savory spices. The wine is a small-production barrel selection from the estate vineyard, which is in the heart of the Green Valley. Drink now and through 2013, at least. -S.H." (09/11)

90 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com

"Intense aromas of dried strawberries and prunes, yet flower and fresh still. Full and fruity with chewy tannins and a clean finish. A little extracted in style but stylish. Drink now." (06/12)

Description:

"That's some potency for a Pinot! Some leafiness and nicely balanced. This is not too sweet, not too green, doesn't taste too alcoholic. Well done! Attractive freshness on the finish. Some firm tannins still - I wonder what on earth it was like two or three years ago! Drink 2012 to 2018. (JR)" 16.5 out of 20 points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages

WINE:
"Named after my daughter, Cristina, this wine is a special selection of 11 barrels from a unique blend of our Pinot Noir clones that we feel best represents the terroir, or personality, of the Don Miguel Vineyard and shows the most potential for aging." -Winery

WINERY:
"Marimar Torres has been involved in the wine business all her life. Born in 1945 in Barcelona, Spain, she is fluent in six languages and holds a degree in Business & Economics from the University of Barcelona. She is also a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program, and studied Enology & Viticulture for a year at the University of California at Davis. At Marimar Estate Vineyards & Winery, she directs the activities at the winery and in both vineyards - Don Miguel (named after her late father) in the Russian River Valley and Dona Margarita (named after her late mother) in the Sonoma Coast AVA, both in Sonoma County." -Winery

VITICULTURE:
"'After experimenting for several years with a few blocks of vines, in 2003 we decided to make the jump to the entire vineyard,' says winery founder, Marimar Torres. 'The whole idea is to create an ideal balance between the vines and nature. The vineyard will be ecologically healthier, and the grapes of higher quality. That's our long-term reward.'"

"Now that our vineyards are certified organic, we are moving into biodynamics! This is really a step up from organic viticulture, where the approach is to see the vineyard as an ecological whole: not just rows of grape vines, but the soil beneath them -- an organism in its own right -- and the other flora and fauna in the area, growing together interdependently. To enhance biodiversity, 'compost teas' prepared from special herbs are also sprayed in minute quantities."-Winery

This was also rated 88 points in the International Wine Cellar and 83 points in the Wine Spectator.
