Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

91 Pts Wine Spectator

"Elegant and pure, with really nice cut to the white asparagus, fleur de sel and lime notes. The long, chiseled finish is very steely. A very precise, bony style. This winery is quietly on the rise. Drink now through 2010. 1,250 cases made. –JM" -91 points Wine Spectator

WINE:
"Pale green flecked with straw. Clear and bright. Aromas of fresh lemongrass and citrus fruits are guided by guava and flintiness. Peripheral herbal accents offer insight into this assertive wine. A core of minerality links the youthful fruitiness of the nose to those aromas offering confidence in maturity like lemongrass and gooseberry. The nose is complex and sophisticated."

"The immediate impression is that of concentration and flintiness. This wine has a fine fruit/acid balance and is most certainly a sophisticated wine with its spicy mid-palate and lingering, crisp finish. Yellow fruits abound on the palate and the minerality evident on the nose emerges once again. The bold structure indicates excellent development potential. This is a wine that will age with distinction. A wine to savour on its own or to pair with alfresco summer entertaining." -Winery

WINERY:
"Constantia and the Western Cape of South Africa have a close historical association with wine production, with grapes being planted in the valley as early as 1685. Cradled between the slopes of the Constantiaberg, overlooking False Bay lies a pristine 60ha rural landscape named Glen Alpine that has been under its present ownership since the 1960's. In its recent past the farm has been transformed from rolling forest hills, to an Angus cattle stud, with history dictating its return to vineyard production."

"The Valley is predominantly renowned for the production of cool climate white wines due to the proximity of the vineyards to the maritime influences of nearby False Bay as well as the South facing slopes of Table Mountain. Constantia Glen however is an anomaly as the farm is uniquely located in the saddle of the Constantiaberg mountain thereby exposing the North facing red wine varieties to an additional few hours of late afternoon sunlight, allowing for optimum ripeness and fruit concentration." -Winery

This wine scored 89 points by Stephen Tanzer of the International Wine Cellar and 87 points in the Wine Enthusiast.
