"This full-bodied Bordeaux blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc offers beautiful dark fruit deftly balanced with elements of herbs, spice and a mineral notes. The expressive nose offers aromas of dark berry jam mix with sweet tobacco, cedar and notes of bell pepper and pencil lead. On the palate are flavors of blueberry, black plum, graphite, baking spices and dried herbs." |
Description:
Most known for their Single Vineyard wines made in Columbia Valley, Coyote Canyon has won numerous awards for being one of the best wineries in the region. The Bozak Red is a blend that is mostly Cabernet but it is blended with a couple other grapes as well.
Expect a big punch of red fruit and dark fruit upfront on the palate. There is a decent amount of terroir that is expected when you talk about the stoney vineyards that these grapes came from. We would say you could age this for the next 5 to 10 years, but also think it is the kind of wine that is actually best while young. You will want some food with this wine as it is pretty full bodied!
