You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

90 Pts Allen Meadows - Burghound

"Here the nose is decidedly more floral in character with background nuances of sea shore, oyster shell and citrus. There is both good volume and minerality to the saline-inflected flavors that display good detail on the clean and dry but not really austere finish. I like the depth and this should reward 4 to 6 years of cellar time."

Description:

"The Domaine Barat, situated in Milly, a small village 1.5km from Chablis in Bourgogne, half way between Paris and Dijon, has been owned by wine-growing families for six generations. Angele and Ludovic Barat are attached to their Terroirs and to the expertise handed down from the parents, giving their Chablis freshness and liveliness." - Bourgogne Wine Board, Industry Trade Group

Terrior - "Kimmeridgien"

(Chablis 1er crus Vaillons, Lechet, Furnaces and Monts de Milieu) It is the pure soil of Chablis. The kimméridgien is defined by alternating layers of limestone very compact, very hard and clay marl of different colors (green, yellow, blue) more tender closing fossilized marine organisms. The wine is expressed in perfect Chablis, with minerality, very marked terroir. The soil is decisive for the Chardonnay can develop the finesse and power of the great white wines. It preserves the Chablis wine mineral notes and iodine, plant and lemony freshness of his youth to full maturity. Our chardonnay vines are planted on south-facing slopes and limestone formed in the Jurassic era. Their roots are in soils composed of layers of clay and marine fossils, remains of a past of millions of years while the sea covered Chablis. To preserve the identity of each terroir, the grapes are harvested each appellation and vinified separately. Thus through the chardonnay grape variety can grow in our wines unique flavors & features soil from which they came.
