Vins de Vienne is a joint project that brings together 3 superstars of the Rhone (Yves Cuilleron, Francois Villard and Pierre Gaillard) together into one incredible project.
Last summer, we ran an incredibly successful promotion with the Vins de Vienne Crozes Hermitage 2010, and we sold out in only a few hours. Almost 9 months later, and we still get a ton of requests for this wine! Today's wine is a big step up from that. The quality of these wines is simply off the charts, and when you have 3 of the most talented winemakers in the Rhone Valley making the wine, it really should come as no surprise!
Wine Spectator Rhone critic James Molesworth has gushed over the wines, and is regularly giving them big praise. The highest rated red in their 2010 line up? This very wine we are offering today! The 2010 Cornas Les Barcillants is a gorgeous red that is powerful and rich, yet shows enough restraint to stay incredibly balanced as well. This wine is just entering its drinking window, and still has a bright future ahead of it!
