The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Description:

Wine:
"The 2010 vintage is the Scully Family's finest vintage from their Mount Veeder estate. Provided with a longer growing season, this wine features a complex, dark black and blue fruit character yet has a elegant finish. Our 2010 is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc.

The color is a gorgeous, inviting dark-ruby, bright to the edge. Aromas of blueberry, raspberry, dark chocolate, clove, mint, and eucalyptus emanate from the glass. The mid-palate is full, yet well-defined, with flavors echoing the nose and framed by sweet tannins and great acid balance. The finish is complex and long, with a perfume note resonating on the palate. 288 Cases Produced."- Winery

Winery:
Scully Ranch is located in the Mount Veeder AVA, the highest AVA in the United States. The 1700' Abreu-farmed estate vineyard straddles the top of a ridge just below the Mount Veeder peak (2660'), allowing for beautiful exposure all day. The vineyard sits above the fog line for plenty of sunbathing, and has a cool climate combining for elements that create fully ripe grapes. The soils are a combination of uplift and volcanic origin, and are quick-draining, resulting in small berries and intense flavors. The vineyard is farmed with attention to every detail to achieve balance, evenness, and optimal ripening.

Michael Hirby grew up in a musical and creative family that had a deep love of food and cooking. At The Colorado College, he honed these skills and developed a serious interest in wine. After graduating with a degree in Philosophy, Michael worked as a Sommelier for a few years before deciding that winemaking was the next step; and after spending a few months exploring wine country in Spain and France, he made his way to Napa Valley. There he studied winemaking at Napa Valley College and worked in the cellar with Les Behrens for 2 years, until he was hired to be the winemaker for Realm Cellars in 2002. Michael has since gone on to make wine for several different high-end projects, as well as his own brand Relic Wines, all of which have garnered consistently outstanding ratings. Michael feeds his winemaking and vineyard skills through his insatiable appetite for information. His intimate knowledge of grape flavor development in the vineyard and individualistic winemaking practices are deeply entrenched within a naturalist philosophy." - Winery
