The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"This lightly wood-aged wine is slightly austere in style, with plum and blackberry tones providing weight. Some tannins and acidity accompany its fine, fruity core, giving a more serious note to this wine. Drink from 2018. -RV" (12/14)

Description:

With ever increasing frequency, we're buying more and more wines from Portugal. Many of you have discovered that the quality of most Portuguese wines has risen dramatically. At the same time, the prices have remained extremely low. The combination of these two factors explains the buoyed interest in wines from Portugal.

The 2010 Pedra Cancela Selecao Enologo is a brilliantly made, complex, savory red. It has an incredible 92 rating from Wine Enthusiast.

Although this wine is priced like a simple, inexpensive cooking wine, it is anything but. We were shocked by how much is delivered in such an inexpensive wine. The 2010 Pedra Cancela has complexity and depth, far more than you'd ever expect from any wine in this price point. It's dry with good acidity, seamlessly integrated into the medium body. The wine has solid flavor intensity with lots of ripe red berry fruit recalling cherry and strawberry. Some subtle oak notes and violet floral hints round out the flavor profile. The finish is long and satisfying.

In sum, the wine is just plain yummy -- at any price.

The 2010 Pedra Cancela Selecao Enologo is a screaming value, destined to be enjoyed by connoisseurs and novices alike. Don't miss out.

Wine:
"Appearance clear with a bright ruby colour with medium plus intensity. Some visible tears. Clean, youthful with medium plus intensity. Very precise and fresh red fruits aromatics of cherry, restrained floral notes of violet, some minty herbal nuances and just a touch of sweet oak." - Importer

Palate:
"Dry, medium plus acidity seamlessly integrated in the medium body, fine grained tannins with medium presence and medium alcohol level. Medium plus flavour intensity with lots of ripe red fruits, notes of sweet and sour cherry and some strawberry. Some oaky notes and violet floral hints. Tasty medium plus length." - Importer
