Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $19.98. There are 2 other stores that sell this at $19.99 and $21.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Free Shipping on every order of 6 or more bottles!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

90 Pts Jeb Dunnuck - The Rhone Report

"2010 Domaine Grand Lauze La Mariole Vignes Centenaires (France, Vin de France) $17 Coming from 100-year-old Carignan vines in Corbieres, the 2010 Domaine Grand Lauze La Mariole Vignes Centenaires is gorgeous. Exhibiting exotic, smoky aromas of black cherries, rose petal, licorice, singed leather, and searing minerality along with a medium-bodied, silky, and elegant palate, it builds beautifully with air and has clean, integrated acidity and ripe, polished tannin. The purity here is outstanding, and this knockout effort should be purchased by the case. It should drink nicely for 5-6 years, possibly longer."

Description:

"The 22 hectares of Domaine Grand Lauze are located around the small village of Ferrals-les-Corbières, primarily in Boutenac. The deep soils are limestone, clay mixed with pebbles, and the red sandstone of the Boutenac terroir. In the three Carignan vineyards there are some native strains that were planted between 1880 and 1910! The wines are naturally fermented in a controlled temperature of about 22C, followed by a maceration period of ten days. The cultivation in the vineyards is completely organic ; the wine is all natural. The vines are also cultivated according to biodynamic methods, respecting the lunar cycles and wind." -Importer

WINERY:
"Xavier et Mathieu come from a family of winemakers. Two of their great-grandfathers worked in Ferrals Les Corbieres, one of who used the local co-op (in fact, one of its founders) and another who used his own cellar. Pierre, their grandfather, followed their footsteps in the family business as did his own son Andre, the Xavier et Mathieu's father." "Andre Ledogar worked in the vineyards, but was also looking to further grow their business and invest in their product. In 1997, he bought an old viticultural building and rebuilt it into their new cellar. Xavier, the eldest son, fell in love with wine and became a winemaker like his father. In 2000, Matthieu began working at the winery." -Winery; translated by KM

VINEYARDS:
"The oldest Carignan in our vineyards is 100 years old. The youngest vines are 60 years old. The Carignan vines are located on hills, sloping vineyards, or terraces. We wait until the grapes are ripe before harvesting them. With these parcels, we make wines that are structured, full-bodied, and have powerful tannins." -Winery; translated by KM

ORGANIC VITICULTURE:
"The Ledogar family practices natural production methods. At the domaine, the soils are always worked and treated naturally. Since 1998, inspired by biodynamics, Xavier started working the vineyards cleanly and naturally. The domaine is certified organic by ECOCERT." -Winery; translated by KM
